O***************************************************************************************************************************************** TOTAL CHURCH HEALTH THROUGH THE SUNDAY SCHOOL: An outgrowth of a pilot process between LifeWay Christian Resources and the Tar River Baptist Association has developed into what we now call TOTAL CHURCH HEALTH THROUGH THE SUNDAY SCHOOL. This is a process developed especially for the 4 - 5 participating churches as the Associational Missionary invests himself to those pastors/churches for 12 - 15 months. The Associational Missionary works with each church and develops a training strategy to assist the participating churches as they seek to be the church God has called them to be in their communties. There is intense time of working with the Pastor, Sunday School Director, key church leaders, over a 4 - 6 month period; a time of training designed especially for the identified needs of the participating churches; and "quarterly celebrations" with all participating churches and additional training in the five functions of the church. EVERY CHURCH THAT HAS FOLLOWED THROUGH WITH THIS PROCESS HAS EXPERIENCED SOME DEGREE OF RENEWAL.
