Please be advised that members of the Partnership Mission Teams that have gone on recent mission trips to China, Vermont, Pennsylvania, Africa, Connecticut, and Bangladesh are available to speak with churches and other groups upon request.  Contact Dougald at Dougald@tarriverbaptist.com or Chris Carroll at c2carroll@aol.com for additional details.

Your Tar River Association Judea/State Missions Opportunities

Through TRBA's partnership with other Associations in the North Central Region, we are now affilliated with Rebuilding Hope Ministries.  They are continually looking for volunteers to do LOCAL "mission trips" throughout Cullom, Flat River, North Roanoke, and Tar River Associations.  They now have a bunk house for overnight "mission trips."  This would be excellent for one-day local mission projects for INASMUCH, Baptist Men and Women groups, Youth, etc.  Click herefor more details.

Additional mission projects may be available.  Contact Dougald McLaurin at 919-496-7172 or Dougald@tarriverbaptist.com for additional information.  There are OFTEN ministry opportunties within NC.

Your Tar River Association Samaria/National Missions Opportunities

BSCNC continues to work in Texas rebuilding homes after recent storms.  In addition, BSCNC has been called out to serve at various other places throughout the nation for recent flooding and weather related events.  To be placed on the state's email lists, contact Gaylon Moss at 1-800-395-5102 or at gmoss@ncbaptist.org.  As BSCNC calls out volunteers, TRBA will share information with those that have signed up to be notified for Disaster Relief on our web site.  Click hereto sign up for e-zines.

Family Fest:  The Partnership Missions Team explored the possibility of a "Family Fest" missions trip similar to the WMU mission trips.  At this time, they do not feel equipped to handle such a trip, but are willing to work with TRBA WMU to establish such a trip.  National WMU and Youth on Mission in Rocky Mount have such trips that are both centered on a family vacation and a family doing missions work as a part of their vacation.  You can find out details by going to National WMU for Family Fest (wmu.org) and for Youth on Mission (yom.org).  We may re-visit this at a future meeting as National WMU would be cost prohibitive for many families.

Your Tar River Association Uttermost/International Mission Opportunties

Contact Dougald at 919-496-7172 or via email at Dougald@tarriverbaptist.com or Chris Carroll at c2carroll@aol.com for additional information.  For more information, Click Here.
