Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Tar River Baptist Association to offer counsel, resources, and training opportunities designed to strengthen the work of the local church and to model mission and ministry opportunities to advance the cause of Christ to the ends of the earth.

It is our prayer that this web page will serve as a tool to effectively communicate with our member churches as we seek together to advance the Kingdom of Christ. It is our prayer that you will become engaged in the many training opportunities and other activities to equip the local church in becoming the Great Commandment/Great Commission Church God has called us to be in our world.

We trust you will find our Web site helpful and informative. The web site will always be a "work in progress," striving to better communicate the life and work of the Association to our member churches and interested persons.
